in: 〜を使って，〜で

　前置詞のinは，「〜を使って，〜で」という意味で使われる例が多くあります．これは，speak in English 「英語で話す」の in と同じです．

　estimate the cost in time or money は，「コストを時間かお金で見積もる」です．

　measure th progress in quantity of products は，「進行度合いを生産量で測る」です．

　Matrix multiplication can be written in just three lines of code. は，「行列の乗算は，たった3行のコードで書ける」です．

　XX is classified as application software in the classification scheme as shown in Fig.10.  は，「XXは，図10に示された分類法(図式）で，アプリケーションソフトウェアと分類される」です．
