fashion and manner: 方法や仕方

　fashion や mannerは，いろいろな意味がありますが，「方法，仕方」を意味します．よく使われます．

　in step-wise fashion 「段階的な方法で，段階的に」, in this fashion 「この方法で」, in the intended fashion 「意図した方法で」, in a predetermined fashion 「前もって定義された方法で」, in a well-defined fashion 「よく定義された方法で」，in the same fashion 「同じ方法で」など，多くあります．この「方法で」は，「やり方で，仕方で」に換えて，時には，「〜ように」とに換えて使えます．これらの，fashionは，mannerに置き換えても同じ意味です．

　Each host sends the control message in the same fashion in which it sends the data message.  「データメッセージの送り方と同じ方法で，制御メッセージを送る．」
